This 1970 Porsche 911E 2.2 Coupe remains in its original and rare factory color combination of Conda Green over a Black leatherette interior. The car comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche which confirms the matching numbers engine, color, and a few desirable options. These options include Fuchs alloy wheels and the rarely seen rear bumper exhaust apron. A US delivered car, it has been freshened both mechanically and cosmetically. The car comes with a good file of paperwork that documents work done to the car. It is a very original car that has only been repainted once and retains most of its original interior. It was owned by the same family from 1976-2005. The Suspension has been upgraded with a 911S Swaybar and 911S struts, a common and desirable upgrade that does not hurt the value of the vehicle. The engine's chain tensioners were upgraded to the later Carrera type for increased reliability. The engine has been rebuilt by a Porsche specialist. The 96,000 miles shown on the odometer are thought to be original. Most recently the car came out of a collection of fine European sports cars. Overall, this car has the feel of a well cared for original car that has never been fully disassembled or taken apart, something very desirable in today's market. This is a great opportunity to own an increasingly hard to find early 911 in the desirable and powerful E specification. The car comes with tools, owners manuals, a certificate of authenticity, records, and its original radio.
