Cooper Classics is pleased to offer this 1988 Land Rover Defender 90 Soft Top. This Defender comes with a turbo diesel engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission, with high and low gear ratios. This Land Rover was treated to a frame off restoration, which encompassed every aspect of the car. The original frame was sand blasted and appears new and the interior is fully reupholstered with high end materials and carpeting far beyond what came factory. The soft top is also new, with all functions, clips, and zippers working as intended. The turbo diesel engine fires right up from a cold start and the car stops on a dime. Everything on this Land Rover is new and was addressed during the restoration. The car has a both external and internal roll cage to enhance safety. The body of this Defender is as new with shiny Imola Red paint. A 2 lift kit raises this Land Rover up for increased road presence and off roading capability. This Land Rover is ready to be enjoyed and used on the most demanding off road terrains, or to be driven through the most chic beach towns.
