We welcome any questions on this vehicle

This 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SL is Light Ivory with a Black Interior, Black Soft Top, and matching Light Ivory Hardtop. It is a California car that is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. We took the car in trade from one of our clients towards a beautiful Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3.5. The car was restored in California around 6 years ago and has been driven and maintained properly with only 7,000 miles put on the car since restoration (the odometer was reset to Zero after the engine work was performed). The paint is excellent as well as all of the brightwork. The interior was completely redone at the time of restoration including new seats, padding, carpeting, dash, door panels, etc. The convertible top frame was rebuilt at the time and a new German Canvas Soft Top was installed. Mechanically the car was serviced including a rebuilt suspension, rebuilt air-conditioning system, new wiring harness, all new weather stripping, etc. When we received the car we sent it to our German Mechanic who rebuilt the fuel injection system. Overall this is a fine example of a 280SL in one of its most desirable combinations, a 1971 with automatic transmission and air conditioning.
