This
1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible is a 327 with Powerglide. It is
in its factory original colors of Palomino Ivory with Black Bucket
Seats and Black soft top. It is matching numbers with only 9,900
original miles and the mileage is documented. The car was originally
sold in Pennsylvania to a Doctor, and when he passed away he left
his classic car collection to his girlfriend who took the car to
Florida. In 1993 the car returned to Pennsylvania and was sold to
her brother in law. He kept the car until 2002 when he passed away
and the car was sold to a gentleman in North Carolina.
The car has undergone a complete
frame off restoration and it is in beautiful condition both cosmetically
and mechanically. The engine compartment has been dressed up and
detailed; however, we have all of the original parts for the engine.
Upgrades for the engine and car include: Rally wheels with red wall
tires, electronic ignition, aluminum valve covers, Edlebrock aluminum
intake with 4 barrel carb., headers with duel exhaust, chrome water
pump, power steering pump, alternator and steel braided hoses. The
original books, window sticker, and protecto plate are included
in the sale. We feel that it would be difficult to find a first-generation
Camaro restored to such perfection with this low original mileage.
