Presented in the a highly desirable color combination of Healey Blue Metallic with a Blue Leather interior, this Austin Healey BJ8 has undergone a full ground up, bare metal no nonsense restoration by renowned Healey restorer  Knut Holzer at British Motor Corporation in Philadelphia, PA.

The car was stripped to bare metal and refinished using two-stage paint that has been buffed to a show quality finish. The chrome has been either replaced or refinished as well. The interior of the car has been restored in Blue Leather with Blue piping, and dark blue carpets. A Blue Stay fast canvas top and matching boot cover were also fitted to the restored convertible top frame.

The drive train of this Healey has been completely rebuilt and looks as superb as the exterior. The engine has been line bored and balanced and fitted with a stock grind BJ8 camshaft, while the head has been converted for use with today’s unleaded fuels. A full rebuild of the transmission, rear-end, suspension, and braking systems has also been performed. The ignition system has seen the distributor fully rebuilt while a correct and new wiring harness was also installed. This Healey wears 72 spoke Dayton Wire wheels with Vedrestin tires.
