This 1956 Austin Healey Factory 100M is Black with Red Coves and a Red interior. It features a rare Black hardtop and black soft top and side curtains. It is real factory 100M (not a dealer installed kit) as confirmed by the 100M Registry and British Heritage certificate.The car has all its correct original matching 100M Le Mans pieces that identify it as a factory car making it the most prized of all 100Ms. Many of these cars are missing some of their original pieces. These matching pieces are confirmed as original to the car by the Healey 100M Registry certificate as well. The car is just out of long term ownership. The previous owner, a Healey enthisast and former Porsche factory mechanic, owned the car for the last 33 years.

During his ownership the car was fully restored: it was taken down to bare metal, media blasted and painted, the interior was redone, and the engine and suspension have been rebuilt. The car has several tasteful upgrades as well: Petronix ignition, a gear reduction starter, oil cooler, an aluminum fuel tank, and Luke safety harnesses. It is one of less than 200 thought to still remain of the 640 originally produced.
