This 1952 Jaguar XK120 is a beautiful example, finished in its original color combination of Pastel Blue over a rare Duo-Tone Blue and Dark Gray interior. The car was sold new in Los Angeles and spent most of its life between Texas and New Mexico. Extensive receipts document a ten year restoration that was finished about seven years ago. The car comes with a record binder that includes registrations and titles for the last 40 years, as well as records for the restoration. We also have a document of inspection done by the vice president, chief judge, and Concours Chairman of the J.C.N.A. sanctioned Jaguar Club of Houston, stating that "the car has had a complete and correct frame off restoration and all components were rebuilt, restored or replaced and the car should be rated as a Concours class automobile." Recently the car has been brought to an even higher level of detail. The aluminum engine parts were polished, the engine compartment was detailed, and the wheels, suspension components, and brake drums were cleaned and detailed. The undercarriage was completely detailed and new batteries were installed as well. The engine was recently tuned by an expert mechanic and the car runs and drives beautifully. It is one of the best sounding XK120s we've heard. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire an extremely well documented and highly detailed concours level XK120. A Heritage Certificate is included in the sale.
