This
1948 Lincoln Club Coupe is Black with a Light Tan Interior. The
car had a frame-off restoration and was a Senior AACA winner at
Hershey in 1988. 1948 was the last year the V12 Club Coupes were
produced. Less than 4,000 are estimated to have been built in the
last year of production. Post War V12 Lincolns have become increasingly
rare especially the Club Coupes. Most of the Club Coupes were either
victims of an engine swap or were picked over to restore a Continental,
so to find a properly restored 1948 Club Coupe with its original
V12 is rare. This car was purchased from the widow of a classic
car collector who recently passed away. The Black paint shows beautifully
as well as all of the brightwork which is in excellent condition.
The Light Tan cloth interior and wood are also in excellent condition.
The undercarriage has been kept clean and detailed with no rust.
Mechanically the car is in excellent condition. A Lincoln Owner's
Manual, Trophies, and book listing Senior AACA winners with the
car listed is included.
