This
Restored 1924 Dodge Brothers 4 Passenger Coupe, or "Opera Coupe"
is Dark Blue with a proper Black Hood, and its interior is Black
with Gray Wool Striping. This is a very rare Dodge with the body
built by Fisher, and it features a jump seat as front passenger
seat and a 3/4 rear seat with a box on the driver's side. The 4-cylinder
"L" head engine starts and runs very well. There is no
smoke, the oil pressure is good, and it hits on all four cylinders.
Other mechanical work includes: Rebuilt Generator and Ignition System,
Rebuilt Brakes, New Rear End Seals, Remanufactured Clutch, and the
Gas Tank was removed, cleaned, and treated. The tires are the correct
thread and have less than 1000 miles on them.
We have records of the restoration
work done by an acclaimed restorer. The car was completely stripped
and repainted. There was absolutely no rust on the body and no patches
or repairs were done to the body of any kind. The interior was completely
and professionally redone including seats and headliner. All of
the brightwork has been chrome plated. Additonal features include:
Bumpers, Motometer, Step Plates, Courtesy Lights, Clock Mirror,
and Battery Safety Switch.
This is a fantastic example
of a total and proper restoration of "Four Cylinder 12 volt"
Dodge. The previous owner has a large collection of Dodge Brothers
cars, and has owned 7 prior to this one. Since its restoration the
car has never seen rain, and is always washed with a towel and spray
bottle. |
