This 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL 4 speed is Dark Green (DB291) with a Cognac Interior, Green convertible top and green hardtop. This is the original color combination of the car according to the data card from Mercedes-Benz. We purchased the car three years ago and decided that it would be an excellent candidate for restoration. Throughout the three year process nearly everything on the car was replaced or rebuilt. We had the car stripped and painted, we redid the interior in correct cognac leather, we redid the chrome and wood, replaced the exhaust, put new tires on and had the car tuned, among other things . The car has its original Becker Europa Radio which is in excellent working condition. Overall this 280SL is one of the best fully restored 280SLs we have ever had, and since we oversaw the restoration we have made sure that every detail has been attended to and done right.
