This 1970 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 3.5 Sedan is finished in its factory color combination of Anthracite Grey Metallic (DB 172) with a Light Red Leather Interior. Factory installed equipment includes air-conditioning and floor shift automatic transmission. Originally delivered in the U.S., the car was purchased new by a gentleman in Massachusetts and remained with is family until our recent purchase. The original owner meticulously maintained the car with renowned Mercedes-Benz experts Auto Engineering for over 32 years. Auto Engineering rebuilt the transimission about 10 years ago and at the time the car was repainted . A major service was performed by Hatch and Sons a few years later. 

Overall this an excellent example of what some consider to be the best driving version of the 300SEL: the 3.5 model. Performance is excellent including an engine that delivers power, a transmission which shifts smoothly, and air-suspension in perfect working order. Cosmetically the car shines with paint that is like new, excellent brightwork, beautiful wood, and a leather interior in stunning original condition.
