Offered for Sale here is a 1968 Jaguar E-Type painted in eye-catching and original Carmen Red with Cream interior. It is a numbers matching car as confirmed by the accompanying heritage certificate (where it is actually listed as a Series 1 car). The car has 48,500 original miles, and benefits from a recent restoration, during which the frame was removed from the body, new floor-pans were welded in, and any less-than-perfect areas were replaced with new metal.  Afterwards, the undercarriage and frame were coated with flat black Ziebart rust-proofing. The car shows no signs of rust or other body damage, and is in superb cosmetic condition. During the restoration the motor was rebuilt as well, as was the transmission, rear end, suspension, and brakes. The car also received a new wiring harness and an extra capacity aluminum radiator to help the car keep its cool in hotter climates. An upgraded modern radio has been installed in the car, but the original unit is included with the sale, as are four original ear-less federal spinners.
